Katakwi Yellow Brigade Team Fires Chairperson

Delegates of the yellow brigade team for NRM in Katakwi District over the weekend jointly fired David Outa from chairing the umbrella’s activities with immediate effect.

 

The move comes following concerns from the Brigades’ members stating Outa’s conduct as “uncalled for”, hence failing to perform his duties as stipulated in their paper rules on 9-3-2025.

 

The yellow brigade is an NRM set up team of over 50 members in Ngariam County with the aim of mobilizing support for NRM candidates in the District.

 

While at Katakwi Town council for a heated meeting that lasted for more than 5 hours; Moses Todi, Malinga Robert, David Okiror, Adome Pius, Opajak Emmanuel and others attributed their suffering to the top leadership, hence advocating for change of a new chairperson, Francis Eilor- Elwelu.

 

David Outa the outgone chairperson admitted being the member in the team and requested for cooperation among the members.

 

Meanwhile, Francis Eilor, the new chairman of the yellow brigade thanked the delegates for entrusting him with the new office and urged members to practice maturity, peace and unity while in the team.
