Three Kiss Death over Theft of Goats in Nakasongola

Three suspected goat thieves have narrowly survived death after residents found them slaughtering stolen goats at Namanyonyi Wabigalo village, Wabinyonyi sub-county, Nakasongola District.

 

According to Sam Twiineamazima, the police spokesperson, Savannah Region, the suspects stole goats from the farm of a one Nyamudongo Emmanuel and proceeded to slaughter them for ease of transportation.

 

He identified the suspects as Mutyaba Fred, Sentamu Sula and Musinguzi John and says they are currently at Nakasongola CPS awaiting court appearance.

 

He says that on the night of April 11, 2025, Mutyaba Fred contacted Sentamu Sula about a ‘deal,’ and indeed Sentamu arrived with an accomplice on a motorcycle, later meeting Musinguzi John, who guided them to the farm.

 

The motorcycle used in the crime was burnt by residents.

 

Investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the suspects’ involvement in the recent animal thefts in the Savannah Region.
