MTN Uganda has spoken out on temporary service interruptions being experienced by its clients countrywide.
MTN in a statement dated Tuesday, 15th April, 2025, says this interruptions are being caused by the major upgrade works currently ongoing that started on 12th April, 2025.
These works that are expected to improve on voice, data and mobile money services will end on 30th June, 2025.
“This work will happen late at night to minimize disruptions, but you might still experience temporary service interruptions during this period,” reads the statement in part.
“We apologize for any issues you might experience, and kindly request that you reach out to our customer experience team on 100 (toll-free) or on X for support,” adds the statement.
