The State House Anti-Corruption Unit in liaison with the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions has arraigned a PDM SACCO treasurer before the Sheema Chief Magistrates Court on Charges of obtaining money by false pretence.
Kigundu John Bosco, a treasurer at Kyeihara PDM SACCO, Kasaana Sub County in Sheema District appeared before the Chief Magistrate’s court today, Tuesday, 15th April, 2025 and has been remanded until 17th April 2025.
According to the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, the accused being a treasurer of the Kyeihara PDM SACCO has been soliciting millions of shillings from hundreds of PDM beneficiaries in the SACCO claiming that, it is a requirement before one benefits from the program, whereas not.
Kigundu joins a list of many PDM leaders who have found themselves on the wrong side of the law especially after President Museveni’s directive to have all officials frustrating PDM to be arrested and prosecuted.
