The Leader of Opposition, Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi has today, Tuesday, April 15, 2025 released a list of 72 opposition Members of Parliament who have signed a resolution condemning the clandestine giving of Shs100M to MPs from the Classified budget of State House.

“Signing this document is like taking an oath of allegiance. It is a public commitment of these members disassociating themselves from the 100m shs saga. If any of them signed yet they picked the money, it will certainly catch up with them,” Ssenyonyi says.

He also challenges those who gave out the money saying, “if anyone signed yet they received your money, please expose them. I guess those who didn’t sign fear that particular consequence.”

Recently, a Video leaked showing Members of Parliament sneaking into Parliament on the night of Monday, 7th April, 2025 to pick the controversial Shs100M handout.

The Video shared by the Leader of Opposition, Joel Ssenyonyi, clearly shows a number of MPs driving into the Parliamentary building at night and walking into the house with empty bags.

Sources within Parliament say this money was given out to NRM MPs and friendly opposition MPS between Monday, 7th April and Tuesday, 8th.
