The police in Budaka District are investigating a murder case that occurred on May 14, 2025, at around 1:00 pm in Busikwe Village, Katiira Parish, Katira Sub-county.
The victim, Moses Nghanga, a 71-year-old peasant, was allegedly killed by his son, Denis Galandi, aged 25.
Bukedi North region acting police spokesperson ASP Kyempasa Wilfred , Margaret Musenero, a neighbor, was called by Galandi to the deceased’s house.
He adds that upon arrival, she found Nghanga lying in a pool of blood, dead. Galandi allegedly told Musenero that she should see what he had done to his father. Musenero made an alarm that attracted neighbors who arrested him and took him to Kerekerene Police Post.
