The Board of Directors has appointed Eng. Richard Matsiko as Ag. CEO, Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL).
This was revealed by Kwame Ejalu, Chairman Board of Directors in press statement issued today, Friday, 25th July, 2025.
“UETCL congratulates Eng. Matsiko and wish him success in his new commission,” reads a brief statement on X.
Eng. Richard Matsiko’s appointment was reached at during an extra-ordinary sitting of the Board of Directors on Thursday, 24th July, 2025. He has been deputy CEO.
His appointment follows the resignation of the former CEO, Joshua Karamagi which the Board accepted.
