A section of former parliamentary aspirants from both Namisindwa County and Bubulo East Constituency in Namisindwa District have resolved to rally support for Bwayo Emma in his bid for the LCV Chairperson seat.
Kutosi Rogers, a former aspirant for the Namisindwa County parliamentary seat, made the remarks while addressing mourners at the burial of Kalenda Lydia Namanda, the stepmother of Mbale RCC George William Wopuwa, in Buwambwa. He thanked the people for voting for Emma Bwayo, describing him as capable and experienced enough to lead the district to greater heights. Kutosi emphasized that leadership in the district rotates among the three major clans and affirmed that this time, the right person had been chosen.
Amos Masibo, another former aspirant who contested for the Bubulo East parliamentary seat, said it is time for new alliances and quality leadership. He commended Bwayo for his humility and intelligence, noting that with his vast network and connections, Namisindwa District will be more effectively managed.
Emma Bwayo, who was also present at the burial, expressed his gratitude to the voters for entrusting him with the NRM LCV Chairperson flag. He urged them to continue their support as they approach the general elections in January. He called for calm and unity, and prayed for life and wisdom as the people prepare to elect the right leaders.
