The data confirms that Mukula’s popularity has transcended regional boundaries, with solid backing in both rural heartlands and major urban centers. Party delegates and grassroots mobilizers across the country cite his proven track record, political experience, and unmatched mobilization ability as key reasons for their support.
Poll Highlights by Region:
Western Uganda: 82% — commanding majority support, reflecting deep appreciation for his loyalty to the NRM’s historical mission and his strong relationships with veteran cadres.
Buganda: 79% — exceptional backing driven by his national visibility, consistent engagement, and urban appeal.
Kampala City: 71% — strong urban following thanks to his media presence, articulate political messaging, and reform-minded image.
Northern Uganda: 57% — healthy approval linked to his contributions toward national reconciliation and post-conflict recovery programs.
Karamoja: 54% — growing support in the region as his message of inclusivity and development gains traction.
Eastern Uganda: 64% — solid home-base support built over decades of consistent mobilization and visible development advocacy.
