The Government of Uganda, through the first Lady, Mama Janet, has purchased all tickets for Ugandans as a gesture of appreciation for the third place play off between Senegal and Sudan.
This was revealed by the CHAN Local Organizing Committee today, Thursday, 28th August 2025 during a press briefing at Mandela Stadium, Namboole.
LOC says government has purchased the 28,000 tickets and the money remitted to CAF in appreciation of the support shown by Ugandan football fans.
Whereas, the finals will be played on Saturday, 30th August at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi-Kenya, the 3rd place playoff will be hosted at Namboole tomorrow, (Friday), 29th August at 6:00PM.
According to LOC, the free tickets became available in the afternoon of today and can be accessed through CAF’s official website for purchase of tickets for CHAN 2024 as has been the case.
When you access the portal to get yourself a ticket, fill in all the necessary details such as name, phone contact and email if available.
