The embattled former Entebbe Municipal Assistant Engineer, Johnnie Yebaza has defied court and put his Livani beach Motel on sale despite a court order prohibiting any activities on the disputed piece of land housing the beach.
His brokers who preferred to remain anonymous told us that Eng. Yebaza approached them on sale of his land housing Livani beach Motel, and in turn they got him a client who is willing to buy it at Shs. 2 billion. They identified the potential client as Saffron the proprietor of Saffron Beach Hotel in Manyago zone in Entebbe Division ‘A’.
A source told us that the client is willing to pay Shs.2 billion to Eng. Yebaza, but because of the ongoing court process between Eng. Yebaza and his wife Harriet Semasaazi, the tycoon can’t pay the money until court delivers it’s ruling on the matter surrounding the disputed beach.
The brokers say if it wasn’t the court battle, the beach would be now in the hands of the tycoon of Saffron Beach Hotel who is believed to be a Pakistan investor.
It should be noted that at the moment, Eng. Yebaza is embroiled in a bloody war with his wife Harriet Semasaazi over possession of Livani Beach property in Manyago zone in Entebbe Municipality.

The couple who got married three decades ago, currently treat each other as enemies after Semasaazi allegedly sold part of the land housing the beach to a Chinese investor identified as Chen Lianren who is currently constructing makeshift structures on the disputed land along Kintu road , plot 2 FRV 1244 Folio 18 Busiro County, Wakiso district.
However, the war between the couple began when Eng .Yebaza told his wife that he was selling their marital home in Nsamizi zone which he later sold. Eng. Ayebaza requested his wife to move with him to stay in the village, something Harriet objected to.
Instead she decided to move to Manyango zone and occupy a house which was part of Livani Beach motel. It’s said Eng. Yebaza followed her there and tried to convince her to move with him to his village in Mbarara district but still Harriet refused.
Sources revealed to us that during the time when the couple was still staying together, Harriet had allegedly slapped a sex ban on Eng. Yebaza.
Tired of sexual starvation, Eng. Yebaza decided to marry a young woman whom he sired with two children. But because of his age, Eng. Yebaza could not move at the same pace with the young woman who later got a young energetic man who can match her pace during night hours.
Following a serious disagreement with Semasaazi, Eng. Yebaza decided to drag her to Entebbe High court Family Division, accusing her of trespassing on his land housing Livani Beach motel which she allegedly sold to the Chinese investor.
During court proceedings on September 16, 2025, Entebbe Assistant High court Registrar Her worship Stella Maris Amabilis requested both the couple’s Lawyers to file written submissions to her court on September 24, 2025 before fixing October 3, 20205 to give a ruling on whether Semasaazi is a trespasser on her hubby’s property in Manyango zone or not. Her Worship, Amabilis, however halted the ongoing construction works at disputed Livani Beach property till court gives it’s ruling on the matter.
