Uganda Airlines, the National Courier has resumed full long-haul flights that had been temporarily suspended.
This was confirmed in a Travel Updates issued today Friday, October 03, 2025 by the management of Uganda Airlines.
“We are pleased to announce the full resumption of our long haul operations. Our entire network is now fully restored,” reads the statement in part.

Uganda Airlines had experienced disruptions on its long-haul flight schedules operated with its A330-800 neo Aircraft.
Announcing the disruptions on Thursday, 25th September, 2025, the National Carrier said this was a result of operational challenges.
A quick search of the Long-Haul flights operated with A330-800 neo Aircraft, indicates that the affected routes were Entebbe to London Gatwick International Airport, Dubai and Guangzhou.
These Long haul flight schedules were launched in October, 2021 after the National Carrier acquired additional two Aircraft, the Airbus A330-800neos which government described then as, “state of the art aircraft with competitive features that make it enjoyable and comfortable. Some of these features include full lie flat chairs in Business class, onboard Wi-Fi access throughout the aircraft, inflight entertainment system and increased legroom for all classes.”
