A retired Senior Nurse has been robbed of Shs200,000 and an Aglucometer machine by thugs who were armed with hammers and pangas.
Mugala Beatrice, a 64-year-old retired nurse and resident of Nyanza Cell, Kamonkoli Town Council in Budaka District suffered the attack on 2nd October, 2025 at 1:00AM.
According to Wilfred Kyempasa, the Police Public Relations Officer, Bukedi North, the incident was reported by Mugala herself.
He says five unknown persons attacked Mugala armed with pangas and hammers, broke the window, and entered her residence.
He says they robbed her of an Aglucometer machine and UGX 200,000. The victim alleged that the robbers were wearing civilian clothes, and she did not identify anyone.
Kyempasa adds that the statements have been recorded from the victim and witnesses. The scene was visited by D/AIP Watsala Willy and a crew from Kamonkoli Police Station.
