Police have issued two warrants for land broker Muhammad Kamoga over illegal land deals in Garuga. He faces multiple charges, with a Shs3M reward for his arrest.
The Warrants were issued on Friday, 10th October following Kamoga’s failure to respond to Entebbe Chief Magistrate’s summons.
Tycoon Mohammad Kamoga, the managing Director of Kamoga Property Consultants in Entebbe snubbed court summons that were issued to him two weeks ago over multiple land cases.
Embattled Kamoga was supposed to appear in court on Monday, 29th September, 2025 without fail to answer charges of forging a lawyer’s practicing certificate in the fraudulent acquisition of a 200 acre of land at Garuga- Bukaaya in Entebbe, Wakiso District but unfortunately he did not show up in court
His failure to appear before court prompted the presiding Magistrate, Her Worship, Lilian Mazimwe to issue a warrant of arrest to apprehend tycoon Kamoga wherever police cites him.
Entebbe State Attorney, Paul Byamukama Aheebwa informed court that Kamoga who was declared hospitalized at Makarov Hospital by his lawyers and unable to attend court is not in a life threatening situation at all and could ably attend court session.
It’s rumored that the embattled tycoon is currently in hiding for fear of being arrested by police and has declared himself being hospitalized at Nakasero hospital.
A week earlier, Entebbe senior Grade one Magistrate, His worship Edgar Tibayeita Tumusiime, issued fresh criminal summons ordering any uniformed police officer to apprehend tycoon Kamoga and produce him before his court whether dead or alive. The court summons followed issuance of numerous summons against the Embattled tycoon who is currently embroiled in multiple land cases.
Troubled Kamoga is accused of forging a practicing certificate, signature, and official stamp of lawyer Lorna Nkamwesiga in order to fraudulently acquire 200 acres of land in Garuga village in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso district.
Kamoga who has lost public trust because of having a number of legal battles related to land , is also facing other charges including obtaining land registration through false pretense and uttering forged documents.
