Uganda Police Force’s Disciplinary Court has recommended that ASP Nsiima Clive be dismissed from the Police Force for behaving in a scandalous manner, says Spokesperson, ACP Kituma Rusoke in a statement dated 13th October, 2025.
The recommendation follows a video that went viral showing the officer slapping a salesgirl on 6th October, 2025 at a petrol station in Kyanja for asking payment of Shs30,000 being a bill for condoms and beer that he had picked.
Consequently ASP Nsiima was arrested by police and appeared in the police disciplinary court on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, and Friday, 10 October 2025, where he was charged with behaving in a scandalous manner. The court recommended a sentence of dismissal.
ASP Nsiima was also produced in criminal court at KCCA on Monday, 13th October, 2025 on charges of assault and threatening violence and has since been remanded in prison.
He is also charged with malicious damage to property after destroying the smartphone of the victim, Pellan Atuhumuriize. The officer pleaded not guilty to the offences and also asked for bail whose ruling has been scheduled for 16th October.
His lawyer told the court that the two parties have since reached a reconciliation agreement. Nsiima has been remanded until October 16, 2025.
