Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja has unveiled a coalition of six political parties that have pledged to President Kaguta Museveni in the ongoing presidential election campaigns.
Nabbanja while receiving the group of 6 at her offices on Thursday, 16th October, 2025 says, she congratulates the 6 parties adding that, “The leaders of these parties paid a courtesy call on me this evening, Thursday, 16th October, 2025 at the office of the Prime Minister.”
She named the parties as the Republic Women and Youth Party, Liberal Democratic Transparency (LDT), and National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED).
Others are Revolutionary People’s Party (RPP), Congress Service Volunteers Organisation (COSEVO), and Liberal Democratic Transparency (LDT).
“I commend Kiwanda Ssuubi, the Chairman of the National Consultative Forum, a constitutional body that brings together all political parties with representation in Parliament for mobilising these parties,” says Nabbanja.
She says she welcomes their decision to form a coalition and support President Kaguta Museveni to continue protecting the gains.
