PALLISA
The territorial police in Pallisa district are hunting for a man who allegedly defiled a 10 year old girl.
According to Wilfred Kyempasa the Bukedi North region police spokesperson, the suspect who is still at large defiled the minor on Monday, 20th October, 2025 at about 6:30PM while she was on her way back from shopping.
Kyempasa says the incident occurred Rweta C Cell, Kagwese Ward in Pallisa town council and the case recorded at Pallisa CPS Vide: CRB 549/2025.
“It’s alleged that on the 20/10/2025 at around 6:30PM, the complainant, Namatovu Afuwa sent the victim to the shops at Pallisa industrial Area to buy her baking flour. At around 7PM, the victim came back and reported to the mother (complainant) that she had been sexually abused by a man known to her by appearance,” says Kyempasa.
He says the mother checked the victim’s private part and found out that she was bleeding and that later, the victim led the mother to the crime scene which was within Rweta C cell Kagwese ward in Pallisa town council.
On 21/10/2025 at around 1100/ the matter was reported at Pallisa police station vide SD ref 25/21/10/2025.
He says PF3A was issued to the victim for medical meanwhile, the scene of crime was visited by the scene of crime officer and detectives.
Police also says that it was also established that the victim was sexually abused as the hymen was raptured and fresh bruises medically observed.
