Zzimba Online was launched in the Eastern region on Saturday, 25th October, 2025 at Hill View Hotel, located in the Industrial City Division of Mbale City.
During a press conference at Hilltop Hotel along Republic Street in Mbale City, Andrew Masika, the Executive Director of Zzimba Online, stated that the platform aims to connect buyers, sellers, and builders in the market for quality building materials.
Masika noted that in today’s digital age, customers can purchase products from any hardware store across the country by ordering online. To utilize the platform, buyers, sellers, and builders need to open an account with their details.
Moses Musira, a member of Zzimba Online, explained that the platform is already operational in Kampala and is now expanding to the Eastern region.
He encouraged the public to embrace this technology, highlighting its benefits in reducing fraud, ensuring quality building materials, and facilitating direct connections between buyers, builders, and sellers.
