President Museveni’s campaign rally in Bukedea district has been changed from 4th November to 5th November, 2025.
This was revealed by Isaac Epilo, the Bukedea District NRM Party Chairperson today Tuesday, 28th October, 2025 during the District’s NRM Party Leaders meeting aimed at preparing for Museveni’s open rally.
The NRM party delegation comprising of security team, district league Chairpersons and sixteen Sub County Chairpersons, held the first preparation meeting ahead of the President’s visit.
”The President was to visit us on 4th Nov 2025 but it has been changed to 5th, Nov 2025,” said Mr Epilo.
Mr. Epilo tasked the NRM delegation to mobile big number of people to attend the President’s rally.
”our target is mobilizing more than 50,000 people”, said Epilo adding that each NRM party delegation has a role to play in ground mobilization.
”Our office was allocated 15,000 yellow T.Shirts and they must be given directly to the NRM supporters”, said Epilo.
An earlier meeting organized by the district executive resolved to reward His Excellence by voting for him 100%, and to own the day by parading portraits of all NRM party flag bearers and limit independent pictures on ceremonial ground.
Mr. Sam Okimat, the NRM district party secretary says, much as some of people are supporting independent candidates, the party resolution is to stand firm behind the flag bearers.
”we are ready to limit such people in the party by removing them off if they are not decided,” said Okimat.
William Wilberforce Tukei, the Bukedea Resident District Commissioner challenged the NRM party delegates to mobilize massively for the party.
