A total of 2,716 shortlisted Election Special Police Constables (SPCs) in East Kyoga, are to commence training on Monday, 8th December 2025, in preparation for the upcoming electioneering process.
This was revealed by the Regional Police Commander East Kyoga, Assistant Commissioner, Ibrahim Saiga who urged all shortlisted Election Special Police Constables (SPCs) to keep time noting that the official reporting date for training is Monday, 8th December 2025, starting at 0800 hours, at Teso College Aloet, Soroti.
The East Kyoga Regional Police Command comprises districts of (Soroti city, Katakwi, Kapelebyong, Amuria, Kalaki, Kaberemaido and Soroti district).
He reminded all candidates that reporting is strict and any SPC who fails to report by the close of Monday, 8th December 2025, will be considered to have forfeited his/her vacancy.
Further he guided candidates to carry Mattresses, Beddings, Jerrycans, Buckets or basins, Sportswear, Gumboots and Personal effects. The Regional Police Command urges all successful candidates to comply and ensure timely reporting
