A four-year-old boy, Mugoda George, has been kidnapped from his fathers’ home in Kalalaka B ell, West Ward, Pallisa Town Council, Pallisa District. The kidnap took place on December 9, 2025.
The victim’s father, Kirya Herbert Sajja, a chief finance officer at Pallisa district local government, had left for work, while his mother, Biribawa Jessica, had gone shopping in Iganga district, leaving their children at home.
Fredrick Kyempasa, the Bukedi North region police spokesperson says the suspect, using phone number 0747290720, contacted a boda boda rider, Abubakar Espan and instructed him to go to the victim’s home to obtain his mother’s phone number. The suspect then called the mother, sending a scaring message, prompting her to check on the children, only to discover that Mugoda George was missing.
He says they have registered a case of abduction, recorded statements from witnesses, and arrested two boda boda riders for questioning.
Kyempasa adds that efforts are underway to track the suspect using the phone number used in the kidnapping.
