Police in Nansana are holding a 53-year-old security guard, Kimonyo Vincent, in connection with the murder of Mpereza Immaculate, a 25-year-old bar waitress.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, SP Rachael Kawla, the incident occurred on March 1, 2026, at around 12:00 pm at People’s Bar in Nansana East 11B.
She says the Guard working with New Securiko Uganda, who was armed with a gun stood up and aimed his gun at the deceased and shot her.
She says the victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at Ssebi hospital while the deceased’s body was taken to KCCA mortuary for postmortem. Suspect is currently in police custody.
