Former Makerere University Dean of Students, John Michaels Ekudu has died at the age of 76. The late was born in 1950.
The sad news was broken by the State Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Hon. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi on his X –Handle on Friday, 27th March, 2026.
According to Balaam, the deceased who took over from Uncle Kihuguru in 1996 will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kaberemaido on Tuesday, 31st March, 2026.
A vigil is ongoing at his Kampala City home in Kira Municipality today, Saturday, March 28, 2026.
An official vigil and Service shall be held on Sunday 29th March, from 3:00PM to 11:00PM at Kampala Baptist Church followed by travel to Kaberemaido on Monday, 30th March where another vigil shall be held at his country home.
