The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) on 15th April, 2026 appointed Anna Adeke Ebaju as its new Chief Whip in Parliament.
The appointment was communicated during a plenary sitting, formally confirming a change in the party’s parliamentary leadership structure.
Adeke has replaced Yusuf Nsibambi, who crossed from the FDC to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) in February 2026.
Adeke now has the responsibility for coordinating FDC positions in Parliament, maintaining party discipline among MPs, and serving as a key link between the party leadership and its parliamentary caucus.
Her appointment is expected to strengthen the party’s internal coordination to legislative debates.
The FDC leadership will be relying on Adeke to consolidate its parliamentary presence and ensure cohesion among its remaining legislators.
Anna Adeke Ebaju, a lawyer and politician is the current Soroti Woman Member of parliament. She previously served as the parliamentary representative of the National Female Youth Constituency in the 10th parliament.
