The State House Anti-Corruption Unit has arraigned before court two SACCO bosses over alleged theft of money belonging to Parish Development Model (PDM) beneficiaries.
Siwa Moses, the Chairperson and Sorowon Sam Kwurus, Secretary Tegeres West Division SACCO appeared before the Kapchorwa Chief Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 8th May, 2026.
They were slapped with charges of theft and conspiracy to defraud and remanded until 14th May, 2026.
The State House Anti-Corruption Unit says that the duo between September and October 2025, along with others still at large, allegedly conspired and stole money from several beneficiaries of the Parish Development Model (PDM) in the Tegeres West Division SACCO in Kapchorwa District.
