A Housewife has stabbed herself to death after the husband allegedly received her local group ‘Kibina’ savings money and failed to hand it over to her.
According to the SP Rachael Kawala, the KMP Police Spokesperson, Nakigudde Carol, aged 22 years commited the suicide act on Saturday, 16th May, 2026 at Kitoro Zone, Entebbe Municipality in Wakiso District.
Kawala says that on the fateful day, at about 11:00PM, the deceased picked quarrel with her husband, Husama Mukiibi where she demanded the husband to give her, her Shs450.000 since it was her turn to receive money from the local savings group.
It is alleged the money was delivered through the husband but he did not give it to the wife.
Nakigudde went on and picked a knife and allegedly stabbed her self around the neck despite several efforts to stop her by the husband.
She was rushed to Entebbe regional referral hospital where she died from at 1:00AM on 17.05.2026.
