As we commemorate Heroes Day, we pay tribute to the brave men and women whose sacrifice, courage, patriotism, and unwavering commitment laid the foundation for the peace, stability, and progress our nation enjoys today.
This day reminds us that true heroism is not only found on the battlefield but also in the daily efforts of citizens who work tirelessly to build a stronger Uganda. From farmers and entrepreneurs to teachers, healthcare workers, and public servants, every Ugandan contributing to national development is a hero in their own right.
As Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, I reaffirm my commitment to fostering a vibrant economy, supporting local industries, empowering cooperatives, and creating opportunities that improve the livelihoods of our people.
Let us honor our heroes by embracing unity, hard work, integrity, and patriotism as we continue to build a prosperous and self-reliant Uganda.
