Cabinet in its second sitting at State House Entebbe on Monday, 6th July, 2026 approved the appointment of former KCCA Acting Executive Director, Eng. Andrew Kitata, as Board Chair of the National Building Review Board.
Kitata voluntarily resigned from KCCA in October 2020 after returning to his substantive role as Director of Engineering.
Other members of the board are; RSU Irene Kitata, Arch. Henry Kigundu, PP Irene Achola, Benon Yiga, Eng. Chris Opuch, Richard Androle and Eng. Betty Nabbosa.
National Building Review Board regulates and coordinates building control activities in Uganda.
