The latest coming in from the corridors of Parliament is that embattled Chris Obore and Daniel Adilo have been replaced as Directors of Communications and Human Resource respectively.
It is said that as the newly constituted Commission prepares to declare the position of Director of Communications vacant and appoint a replacement for Chris Obore, Assistant Director Grace Gidudu has taken up the role in an acting capacity.
Meanwhile, Mr. Masereka Benson Oniz, formerly Director of the Commission Secretariat who was placed on “katebe” in July 2021, is now substantively Director of Human Resource Management, formally replacing Daniel Adilo who is in jail.
The duo is part of seven senior members of staff of Parliament who are currently cooling off in Luzira over allegations of embezzlement and money laundering.
Others are; Mr. Okema Leonard, Executive Secretary, Office of Speaker, Mr. Rajab Kaaya Ssemalulu, Principal Research Officer, Mr. Okwi Emmanuel Emuron, Principal Protocol Officer, Mr. Otebata Vincent, Capacity Development Officer, and Mr. Murebe Methods, Chief Executive Officer, Uganda Parliamentary Cooperative Savings & Credit Society Ltd (SACCO).
