Official Statement
Fellow patriots,
After observing a few issues from the day I assumed office, I wish to issue the following statement.
PLU is an organization firmly built on the rule of law and all we do is guided by the strict tenets of the law. We will not tolerate or condone any breach of the law by any member.
Accordingly, all PLU members are strongly warned against:
Engaging in extortion
Participating in any criminal activities and physical attacks on fellow PLU members or any other Ugandan
Dressing in military or paramilitary style uniforms.
Any member found engaging in such acts will face appropriate disciplinary action, as these behaviours are contrary to the values and principles of PLU.
No individual or group is permitted to organize, convene, or announce any event, program, or activity in the name of PLU without the prior knowledge and, where necessary, explicit clearance from the Office of the General Secretary and Chairman @mkainerugaba or CC members.
We urge all members to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and respect for the law as we continue to build a credible and respected organization and all its leaders.
For those who have differences, the secretariat is open, we want a united PLU and I am available to receive your complaints so that we can find a way of solving them, fighting is never a solution.
