The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Ben Kumumanya has directed the Hoima City Clerk to interdict six officials with immediate effect.
In a letter dated Friday, 16th October, 2026, the Permanent Secretary directs the City Clerk to interdict the following: Godfrey Muhumuza-City Physical Engineer, Robert Byaruhanga-City Natural Resources Officer and Boneventure Kiiza-City Engineer.
Others are; Johnson Baingana-City Education Officer, Milton Asiimwe-Secretary City Service Commission and Nyamahunge Carolyn-City Inspector of Schools.
The order for interdiction follows Minister of Local Government, Hon. Balaam Baruhagara’s Expose The Corrupt meetings in Hoima City on 10th October, 2026.
The victims were various accused of gross negligence of duty, abuse of office, mismanagement of public resources and possible financial impropriety.
