The race for the Umukuka III is finally over with the government not only gazzetting Jude Mike Mudoma as the legally elected Umukuka but also providing 4 UPDF soldiers to provide him with security.
The function was presided over by Col. James Kato Kalyebara, Commander of Royal Guards on 22nd August 2023 at Malukhu Inzu Yamasaba Cultural offices.
The function was also witnessed by the Inzu Yamasaba Cultural Institution Prime Minister, Charles Walimbwa Peke whom Col. Kato directly handed over the soldiers being the man responsible for administration in the Inzu Yamasaba.
Kalyebara says that four royal guards who have been at Inzu Yamasaba cultural institution guarding Wagabyalile have been thrown out and replaced with these new ones.
Speaking while receiving the guards, Walimbwa asked the faction of John Amuram Wagabyalile to join them as the winning team and work together for the development of Bamasaba.
He adds that it’s time to forget the wars they have been having with Wagabyalile’s camp for the last three years since Bob Mushikori, the Umukuka II died and work together for development.
By press time, Wagabyalile was still occupying the offices even after receiving a forceful eviction order from government which will soon be implemented.
