Arch Bishop Ssemogerere joined with other officials in commissioning the new dormitory

The Arch Bishop of Kampala Diocese, Paul Ssemwogerere commissioned a mega boys Dormitory at Kisubi Mapeera SS in Katabi Town Council, wakiso district as the school celebrated 26 years of existence. The new dormitory was named after Rev. Fr. Vincent Mulumba who founded the school 21years ago. It will accommodate over 1000 boys in the boarding section.

Archbishop Ssemwogerere who was the Chief celebrant, in the same vein urged Ugandans to strive harder to achieve their total independence in various aspects of life as he preached freedom and conservation of the environment.

While presiding over the Holy mass at the school main playgrounds on October 9, 2025, the man of God confirmed 46 candidates into the Catholic faith, officially ushering them into the faith that has existed for over 140 years since it was introduced by Brother Amans and Mapeera.

Arch Bishop Paul Ssemwogerere underscored the need for integrity and discipline among students as he blessed 534 candidates of S.4 and S.6 ahead of their national examinations scheduled for this month and next month in November.

Rev.Fr. Benedict Kaweesa, the school Headteacher, saluted all the partners and stakeholders in their collective efforts towards the developments at the school.

The former Headteacher, Mr. Joseph Ddamulira Kawuma, appealed to students to maintain high level of discipline even after they leave the school campus.
