Residents of Nyangole B Village in Nyangole sub-county, Tororo district, were on Tuesday morning thrown into shock after a goat gave birth to a kid that bore striking resemblance to a human baby. The kid died shortly after being produced.
The rare and unsettling incident occurred at the home of Scovia Nyayuki, a resident of Mile 2 trading center along the Tororo–Mbale road.
Word quickly spread across the village, drawing crowds of curious onlookers who gathered to witness the strange birth.
Local leaders and residents alike expressed disbelief. Bernard Oketch, the area LC1 Chairperson, admitted he was stunned, saying it was the first time in his life to encounter such a phenomenon.
“I have never seen anything like this. A goat giving birth to a human-like kid is beyond imagination,” he remarked.
Nyayuki, the goat’s owner, revealed that her household has been plagued by unusual events in recent months.
She recounted being bitten by a snake, losing a grandchild in a house fire, and now facing this bizarre birth. “I feel like the devil is hunting for my life. I ask for prayers from the community,” she said with visible distress.
Witnesses described the sight as both frightening and mysterious. Many voiced concerns that the incident could be a sign of spiritual or supernatural forces at play.
