A security guard attached to Gibeon Security System has been arraigned before City Hall Chief Magistrate’s Court on allegations of raping, murdering and robbing properties belonging aggravated robbery Diana Namulinde, also known as Diana Sky.
Webisa Marvin, a security guard who was deployed at the apartments where Diana Sky lived appeared before the Chief Magistrate on Thursday, February 12, 2026 who remanded him to Luzira until March 3, 2026 as the case is only triable by the High Court.
Marvin Webisa, 22, a resident of Kiwatule zone, Nakawa Division in Kampala District was o arraigned before City Hall Senior Principal grade one magistrate, Nicholas Aisu and charges read against him.
Prosecution led by senior state attorney, Ms Mercy Yamangusho Khaidarah told court that on February, 4, 2026 at Kyanja Kwata Zone, the security guard had canal knowledge of Diana Namulinde without her consent contrary to section 110 and 111 of the Penal Code Act.
He was also charged with murder contrary to section 171 and 172 of the Penal Code Act as well as aggravated robbery contrary to section 266 and 267(2) of the Penal Code Act when he robbed phones, power bank, airpods, suit case, bag, and shs18.6million belonging to the deceased.
This follows his arrest after he was found in possession of items belonging to the deceased. Marvin was intercepted and arrested by his supervisor with two big suitcases and a laptop bag belonging to the deceased as he was running away after being asked a lot of questions.
He was intercepted and arrested at Kisasi along the Northern Bypass while allegedly attempting to flee with two large suitcases and a laptop bag.
He was taken to Kensington Police Post and charged with possession of suspected stolen property, including phones, bags and other personal items.
