Uganda National Examinations Board, (UNEB) has developed a Project Theme for 2026 S.3 learners.
In a circular addressed to all Secondary School Head teachers dated 17th February, 2026, UNEB says the theme is titled, “Embracing Creativity and Practical Skills for Sustainable Development of Society.”
This is in line with the implementation of the Competency based curriculum. The S.3 learners who will be candidates in 2027, will use this theme to guide them in their project work towards their end of cycle assessment for certification in 2027.
“Head teachers are required to popularize this theme among teachers and learners for effective implementation,” reads the statement signed by the Executive Director, Dan Odongo.
Head teachers are further reminded that 2026 S.3 learners shall use the revised Project Observation Check list which is available on the eRegistration Portal under Resources.
