The Ministry of Education and Sports is to carry out Regional Pension Verification Exercise for all its Pensioners.
According to a statement released by the Ministry on Thursday, February 26, 2026, pensioners are to appear in person on the 5 designated regional venues beginning on 9th to 20th March 2026.
The designated venues and dates are; Mpigi Directorate of Education Standard offices for Central running from 9th to 13th March beginning at 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Mbarara Directorate of Education Standard offices for Western running 16th to 20th March beginning at 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Gulu Directorate of Education Standard offices for Northern Uganda running from 9th to 13th March beginning at 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Mbale City Directorate of Education Standard offices for Eastern Uganda running from 16th to 20th March beginning at 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Ministry of Education Headquarters, Embassy House for Central Uganda running from 9th to 20th March beginning at 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Living pensioners are expected to carry with them National IDs, Life Certificate and One Passport Size photo.
Meanwhile, beneficiaries are to carry along Death Certificates, Letters of Administration, Beneficiary National ID, Estate Provisional Bank Statement, Estate Tax Identification Certificate and one passport size photo.
“Failure to report for this exercise by closure of business on 20th March 5:00PM shall result into automatic deletion from the Ministry’s Pension Payroll,” warns the Ministry urging the general public to kindly pass over this information to any pensioner known to them.
