Three people have been confirmed dead in an early morning Monday accident at Mpala flyover along the Entebbe Expressway. The incident occurred today on March 16, 2026 at around 6am.
The deceased persons were traveling in a white Toyota Prado from Kampala heading towards Entebbe direction before their car lost control and hit a pillar at Mpala Expressway flyover.
It’s reported the trio died instantly and by the time Entebbe traffic police arrived at the scene, they could not save any lives. An ambulance from Entebbe General Referral hospital was called at the scene and medics who visited the scene confirmed death of the deceased persons.
Later bodies of the deceased persons were loaded on a police truck and taken to Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem pending burial arrangements.
Traffic police officers who visited the scene of accident declined to comment on the incident saying it’s only the police spokesperson who is authorized to speak to the media.
