Police in Kakiri, Wakiso district has arrested a boda boda rider who was carrying nine children from the same family.
According to SP Michael Kananura, the Traffic Police and Road Safety Spokesperson, Musisi Allan, a boda-boda rider of motorcycle Reg.no UEA 067F, was intercepted while transporting 09 children from the same family.
Kananura says Musisi has since been charged and is currently detained at the same police facility pending court proceedings.
“All the 09 children belong to one family & were reportedly prepared by the parent & handed over to the rider for transport,” says Kananura in his statement issued on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Police strongly urges parents and guardians to desist from such dangerous practices that can easily lead to massive loss of lives.
