President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni fresh from his swearing in for 2026-31 term has appointed a new Deputy Chief Justice and Chief Registrar.
This was communicated today, Thursday, May 14, 2026 by Faruk Kirunda, Special Presidential Assistant – Press and Mobilization in a press release.
The newly appointed Deputy Chief Justice is Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi who will be replacing Dr. Flavian Zeija who was promoted to Chief Justice in 2025.
The new Chief Registrar is Her Worship Agnes Alum replacing HW Sarah SIU Langa who was appointed judge of the High Court.
