The territorial Police in Buikwe District has registered a case of Murder which occurred at Ssugu village Binga parish Ssi Subcounty Buikwe district on Tuesday 20th October 2026 at unknown time.
According to SP Hellen Butoto, the Police spokesperson for Ssezibwa Region, it is alleged that on Tuesday at Ssugu village in Buikwe district Seruwenda Joseph is suspected to have killed his wife Talinde by cutting her neck, head and other parts of the body.
According to the information received from the community they had a domestic brawl before the incident.
The suspect is known for drug abuse like opium smoker and an alcoholic he takes and some five months ago he ran mad and was taken to Butabika hospital for treatment.
By the time of publishing the story, the body was taken to Kawolo hospital for postmortem and the hunt for the suspect Seruwenda Joseph is ongoing.
