Andrew Enyasu a.k.a Kovinct of Aireboure entertainment has warned Teso artistes to desist from exploiting Jax Pro.
Konvinct was the chairperson organizing committee for the Save Jax campaign that resulted into a charity concern last week. He said this while during the handover of the raised cash to Jax’s family.
Through their umbrella Teso Concern Artists spearheaded by Clever Spider, the artistes on the 20th Feb hatched the idea of saving Jackson Eshiangu AKA Jax Pro who was re-admitted at Soroti Regional referral hospital on Oxygen with Pneumonia like Tuberculosis.
During the campaign, the Teso artists were able to raise 4,423,355shs. Out of the money, 396,000shs was spent on Transport and other medical bills for Jax.
“2,514,600shs from the concert at Soroti public garden, during the campaigns on radios, WhatsApp, and the public were able to raise 1,333,755shs, friends of Arthur blique on watssap through Carolyn Apecho collected 600,000shs” the Treasury Nafcee said.
During the handover of the money to Pro Jax and the Family at Atoti prime hotel, 4,050,000shs was given in cash to the family.
While giving his speech during the handover, Konvict said that Pro Jax had been discharged from the Hospital under strict medical conditions with Doctors recommending bed rest for him.
“He was discharged on clear instructions that have been trying to plead with the family and Jax to help us, it’s a collective responsibility. Jax has not been allowed to move but I know many of us artists after hearing that Jax has been discharged now, they will start calling Jax our project. Exploiting him with no pay. I discourage that and we are going to clash. For now his health is our priority,” he said.
He stressed that Jax will do much better projects for the Teso Artists once he is well. “for now I kindly ask that we slow down, he will resume production but let him first be fine, what is the meaning of making a hit and you don’t live to enjoy it,” he stressed.
Jax Pro is in stage two of TB treatment and when he adheres to his medical treatment and advice, he shall be well.
