MBALE CITY
Northern city division Mbale city leaders have started training different groups of people who are going to benefit from the Parish Development Model program.
According to Martine Busiku, the senior assistant town clerk of Northern division while speaking to our reporter in an exclusive interview today at his office the training is going to last for one month before releasing money to those particular groups.
He adds that they are training them on how to implement projects they have applied for such that they don’t make losses and fail to pay back the money which they are going to get.
Busiku also says that the government doesn’t want people to mess up with this money like youth livelihood but use it well to fight poverty at their homes.
Hassan Muduku and Charles Wandeka, some of the beneficiaries say that this training is going to help them in knowing how to conduct some business such that they don’t incur losses and fail to pay back .
The Government of Uganda allocated 200 billion shillings in 2021/2022 financial year to support parish Development model programs such that people improve on their household income.
