Following the continuous defiling of ongoing students in Bukedea district, the Resident District Commissioner Bukedea has challenged married men in the district to procure uniforms for their wives in order to limit the appetite for school girls.
Hajji Imran Muluga raised this caution yesterday 21st June 2022 during the passout of patriots in Kolir comprehensive secondary school.
He said those who are addicted to admiring school girls should buy uniforms for their wives so that whenever they feel like loving a student, they task their wives to put on the procured uniform.
“If you know you want school going girls, please buy uniforms for your girls and leave our students alone to study”, said Imran.
Imran also added that as a district, they have come up with a resolution to ensure that all the defilers are produced in court without any negotiations.
“No defilement cases should be killed or negotiated right from police, all the accused defilers must be produced to court and charged,” added Imran.
Florence Amidiong, the officer in charge child and family protection unit in Bukedea central police station says in the month of June, there is slight decline of defilement cases as compared to May 2022.
