The Imbalu committee organizing this year’s official launch of circumcision at Mutoto Cultural site will today, 15th July 2022 launch business operations.
This was revealed yesterday, 14th July 2022 by Godwin Mubuya, the Chairperson Imbalu Committee to this reporter in an exclusive interview at Mutoto Cultural site.
This year’s Imbalu committee was constituted upon guidance by the Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Betty Amongi.
Mubuya said big companies like Nile breweries, Coca-Cola, and the Tourism Board have already registered their interest in carrying out business at the site.
Mubuya adds that those people interested in operating their business there will be required to pay certain small amount of money daily or once basing on the type of business.
Augustus Wamalwa, the Publicity Secretary at Imbalu committee says the money which will be collected in terms of tax from business people will help them in them in preparing for the ceremony.
He also says that they are going to start moving door to door asking Bamasaba to donate money and other resources for organizing the ceremony.
The Imbalu will be launched officially on the 13th of August and President Museveni is expected to be the Chief Guest.
