SOROTI CITY
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party team combing Soroti City East Central Ward for its candidate’s votes has met the City’s academia.
The team that includes, Hon. Sanjay Tanna yesterday morning, 26th July 2022 met all teaching staff of all institutions of Higher Learning at Soroti University Main Hall.
Yesterday’s team was led by H.E, the Vice President, Jessica Alupo Epel and included, Sanjay Tanna, Hon. Asamo Hellen, State Minister for the Disabled and Minister of State for Ethics and Integrity, Hon. Lily Akello.
The NRM Team was received by the Vice Chancellor, Soroti University, Prof. Bosco Ikoja.
This was one of the last campaign engagements that the Tanna team had with the Soroti City East voters since it was the last day for campaigns.
The by-election scheduled for tomorrow, 28th July 2022 pits NRM’s Herbert Ariko against FDC’s Moses Attan Okia who has this morning alleged that he was poisoned last afternoon.
Tanna was co-opted into the Soroti City East by-election campaigns by the Vice President after sensing that the ground was not good for the Party.
