In bid to curb cases of immorality among children in schools, Busoga central diocese has banned indecent dressing [attire] during visitation days for all Anglican founded Schools.

“You find some female parents putting on very tight mini- skirts that expose all the thighs and the inside underwear while sited on Boda Boda heading to school to check on their children during visitation days, I think this must end for us to keep the morals of our children as Christians,” Rev. Wakula said

Rev Wakula also urged teachers in all churches of Uganda-founded schools to legalize their marriages or else risk losing their jobs.

“I am ready to support any teacher who will be ready to officially legalize his or her marriage because it is mandatory “he added.

Rev Wakula explained that the church condemns any form of poverty because it’s likely to force someone commit a crime and he urged parents to bring up God fearing children who will become responsible citizens of the country.

He revealed that there was hope for the students who had been confirmed into the Anglican faith because they will be able to concentrate on their studies avoid worldly temptations and ensure they complete their education.

The chairperson board of governors Iganga secondary school, Ms Victoria Sekitoleko urged students to be God fearing to ensure they become successful in their careers.

Mr. Sekitoleko appealed to parents to contribute towards the construction of the Angels cathedral at the school in order to accommodate the big number of students seeking to attend service especially on Sundays.

The head teacher Iganga secondary school, Ms Monica Nakaziba urged government to tarmac the three kilometers of road to the main school campus to make it easily accessible adding that whenever it rains accessing the school becomes a very big problem.
