MP Angura Comforts Farmers As Early Drought Hits Hard

TORORO: By Mathew Okello

The Tororo County South Member of Parliament, Fredrick Angura has asked farmers in Tororo not to lose hope with the current unpredictable weather patterns.

The MP who asked farmers to get back to their gardens as soon as the rains restart, noted that several farmers are disappointed after their seeds dried up in the gardens after the dry season stretched further.

Angura asked the farmers to embrace mixed farming so as to thrive economically and also encouraged proper post harvest handling to ensure quality produce.

The legislator also asked men to help their wives in garden works other than using children who are supposed to be in school.
