Mukula Begs For Forgiveness From Teso NRM Delegates

As elections for the National Resistance Movement Party Vice Chairperson draws closer, the National Vice Chairperson for Eastern Region for NRM party Mike Mukula has started begging for Support from Teso District NRM delegates.

While addressing the delegates on Monday at Soroti Widows Hall located in Nakatunya Ward Soroti Municipality, Mukula asked NRM delegates to forgive him for all the wrongs he has done and vowed to fulfill his pledges to various delegates.


Mukula who currently occupies the position is under immense pressure after the Former Tororo Municipality MP Sanjay Tanna declared his bid for the same post.


Tanna who is believed to have won support amongst NRM delegates countrywide has left Mukula with sleepless nights something that has forced him to beg for support from NRM Teso Delegates.



Mukula pledged to support the NRM Delegates SACCO with 20 million shillings but paid 10 million cash.


He further promised to take the delegates to meet President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni whom he said will fulfill his pledges.


Tom Okwi, the NRM Chairperson for Bukedea Town Council while reacting to Mukula’s speech asked him to request President Museveni to fulfill his pledge of motorcycles to all Sub County NRM chairpersons for easy mobilization.



Teddy Acham, the State House Mobilizer in charge of Teso Sub region asked Party delegates to elect a vibrant leader who will stir the party.


She cautioned the people of Teso against electing leaders basing on their nationality.


Meanwhile after paying part of his pledge, delegates endorsed him as sole candidate to run for the position.
