Four Medical workers in the Western District of Ntoroko have been interdicted for allegedly stealing goats of locals that stray into the Health facility where they work.
The four identified as James Kato and Thomas Kasangaki (Enrolled Nurses), Josephat Businge (Askari) and Robert Musubulya (Porter) were interdicted in a letter written on the 7th February, 2022.
The four are all workers of Rwebisengo Health Center 1V, found in Rwebisengo Town Council, Ntoroko district.
According to the interdiction letter signed by Ivan Busobozi on behalf of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the four are accused of illegally slaughtering goats belonging to locals that stray into the staff quarters.
“In regards to theft of goats case Ref. No. SD/1218/01/2022 indicating they found goat’s meat and skin in your room. Arising out of the above preliminary findings, you are hereby in accordance with the Public Service Commission Regulations and the Uganda Public Service Standing Orders, you are interdicted from the powers and functions of your office with immediate effect,” reads the interdiction letter in part.
